Coach Development Officer: Triathlon Scotland

A vacancy has arisen for a high achieving, passionate and knowledgeable individual to take on the full time Coach Development Officer role. You will be responsible for leading, developing and implementing in the area of coaching and coach development across Scotland.

Triathlon Scotland (TS) is the Scottish Governing Body for triathlon, duathlon and aquathlon in Scotland. One of our biggest priorities over the next few years is to grow the sport to the widest possible audience across Scotland. In order to provide high quality opportunities no matter what level you aspire to it is important we have a well-trained and confident workforce.

The Coach Development Officer will be responsible to the National Development Manager and their main aim will be to create a high-performing coaching workforce that will establish a network of inspired and inspirational triathlon coaches at all levels around Scotland.

The post holder will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and effective coach education and development programme that introduces and supports new coaches and helps develop existing coaches at all levels. The post holder will also lead the ongoing development and implementation of accredited coaching courses and CPD courses in partnership with British Triathlon and other key stakeholders.
