Scottish Rugby are currently seeking a Coach Development Officer to work the Caledonia North region. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a successful track record of developing coaches and a passion for training and education.

The post holder will work closely to support internal staff, key stakeholders and partners, to ensure the successful planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation of coach development activities in line with Scottish Rugby's Strategic Plan.

It is essential that candidates have a background in coach development and will hold a coach education or mentoring qualification (candidates from out with rugby will be considered).

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of long-term player development principles and understand the workforce planning process within community clubs. The ideal candidate will also have experience of creating training materials and have experience of supporting an educator workforce.

The successful candidate should be confident and be able to demonstrate effective communication and organisation skills as well as holding a committed and positive attitude towards work and colleagues.

This is a full time position and due to demands of working in sport, there is also a requirement to work out with traditional working hours, including evenings and weekends.
