Contract: Fixed term contract to 31 March 2019, with the possibility of annual renewal.
Location: Based at Scottish Fencing Office but significant travel required throughout Scotland therefore a full driving licence and access to a car is required
Salary: In the range £25k to £30k dependent on experience

Scottish Fencing is looking to appoint an experienced Club Development Manager (CDM) with the expertise and stakeholder-management skills to offer comprehensive club-development support to our clubs, members and Board.
The successful candidate will build on our current portfolio of club development work to plan, direct and implement a club-centred approach to the development of fencing in Scotland.
We need someone who can offer a strategic perspective on club development whilst also comfortable building reports on membership gains and enabling improvements to our team of coaches, officials and referees.
Ideally, you will have significant experience working within the Scottish sports structure, perhaps within another sports governing body, but you will certainly have a sound knowledge of club development combined with experience of evaluating and accrediting club governance systems. You will also be personable, approachable and a good networker, building relationships across Scottish Fencing and all its partners.
As CDM, you will receive direction from the Chief Operating Officer and work alongside Scottish Fencing’s staff and Board; however, we also expect you to be a motivated self-starter capable of working independently. This role will suit someone who enjoys meeting and supporting others, can build trust and credibility quickly and is self-motivated and keen to achieve.
