Hours: Part time covering various hours, evenings and weekends only.

Salary: Voluntary.  Reasonable expenses will be paid and the Club may contribute to Coaching Qualifications subject to Committee Approval

Cardenden Amateur Swimming Club was founded in 1955.  We run our club with volunteers who show great commitment and are proud of the friendly, enthusiastic culture they create.

We have 42 swimmers from 5 years upwards and of all abilities and we are a club that offers competitive swimming to swimmers that want to compete.  We are an inclusive club and work with children who have different needs.

We are looking to strengthen our Coaching team and are seeking to appoint a coach who can inspire, encourage and develop our swimmers.

Candidates must be confident, a good communicator, able to motivate and be able to work positively with the current coaching staff and Committee Members.

Key Attributes for the post:

  • Preferably Level 1 Coaching, or UKCC Level 2 Teaching working towards a coaching qualification;
  • PVG Scheme Membership.
