Job Description

Based at Various locations throughout Angus.

This job is workstyle 4 - Flexi.

You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices. This means you will work from a variety of locations, working from council buildings, working in service user’s locations and site visits and you can work from home to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.

Active Schools Assistants will work under the guidance of the local Active Schools Coordinators to provide increased targeted provision for children and young people experiencing barriers to participation, to be become more engaged in physical activity and sports opportunities.

3 posts will be recruited, one to work in the Brechin/Montrose locality, one in the Forfar/Kirriemuir locality and one in the Monifieth/Carnoustie locality.

Exact base locations still to be determined.

These jobs are temporary until no later than 30 September 2024.

Internal and external applications on a secondment basis will be considered. You must have the approval of your line manager / organisation.

Requirements

You must have the ability to become a member of the PVG Scheme.
